DeLynda is a native of Coastal North Carolina and she has lived and worked in Wilkes County for the past 18 years, realizing quickly that Wilkes County is a wonderful place to raise a family. DeLynda and John have three children and DeLynda is actively involved in their local schools, serving as Grade Parent, PTO Volunteer, member Wilkes Central Athletic Booster Club, member Wilkes Central Academic Booster Club, and past Wilkesboro Elementary School PTO Treasurer with her husband. She is a Board member of the Catherine H. Barber Homeless Shelter, Board Member and Secretary of the Wilkes Community Foundation, and a member of Oakwoods Baptist Church. DeLynda graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree. DeLynda is a REALTOR, Real Estate Broker, and an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) .
John is a native of Kentucky and relocated to Wilkes County shortly after graduating from college. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. John spent 12 years in Management with a Major retailer before realizing his dream of starting his own business. Blair & Ward Properties, LLC opened its doors in 2001 and quickly and consistently grew to become aggressive competition in the marketplace. John enjoys singing in his church choir and he is a Stephen Ministry Counselor. John also enjoys reading and spending time with his family. John is active in the Wilkes Cental school district as member of the Wilkes Central Athletic Booster Club and member Wilkes Central Academic Booster Club. John is a REALTOR, Real Estate Broker, Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) , Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) , graduate of REALTORS Institute (GRI), and he has recently earned the newest designation SFR (Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource) Certification.
